The government of Pakistan released the funds of Rs 53 million against the waved off debts of October, 2005 devastating earthquake-hit business community of Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK). Official sources told newsmen here on Monday, the government had provided funds to AJK with request of AJK Prime Minister Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan. Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani had waved off the debts of the quake-hit business community of AJK, the sources said.
The sources mentioned the funds would be provided to business community instead of small industries. AJK business community thanked Sadar Attique on a initiative, which was beneficial for businessmen, the sources added.
