Emaar Pakistan, the country subsidiary of global property developer Emaar Properties PJSC, has highlighted its commitment to heralding a new era in integrated community development through the use of innovative construction techniques and technologies across its projects in the country.
"Emaar has launched several master-planned communities in Pakistan to meet the increasing demand for quality homes from the growing population," said Matt Cronje, Chief Executive Officer, Emaar Pakistan during his meeting with Mahfooz Elahi, President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ICCI).
Cronje described Pakistan as one of the key markets for Emaar. "We appreciate and welcome the pro-investment policies of the Government, which have been instrumental in strengthening foreign direct investment to Pakistan during the last three years," he said.
He added that while the real estate sector faced setbacks in many parts of the world, in Pakistan it has remained robust led by the huge demand for housing. "The real estate sector in Pakistan is ideal for foreign investment and we foresee this trend to pick up in the coming period. This will contribute to the development of diverse options for people wanting to live in a tranquil and safe community," he added.-PR
