Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Saturday forecast dry weather for most of the country with rise in temperature from 2-4 degrees celsius in Punjab and Sindh during next few days. An official of Met Office told APP that there are no chances of rain in plain and central parts of the country during next few days.
According to met analysis, a western disturbance is affecting northern parts of the country and likely to persist during next 2-3 days. In Punjab and federal capital, dry weather is likely in most parts during next few days. However, dust thunderstorm and rain are expected at few places of upper Punjab on Sunday. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, there are chances of dust-thunderstorm and rain at few places of Malakand, Hazara and Kohat divisions during next two days with intervals.
Isolated thunderstorm and rain are expected in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during next 2-3 days with intervals. The pollen concentration recorded on Saturday was 961 per cubic meter in the air which will gradually come to an end in the coming days, the official said.
