Prime Minister directs PIA to send plane to bring Pakistanis back from Tunisia

On the specific directions of Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, Pakistan International Airline (PIA) in co-ordination with the Ministry of Defence and Foreign Affairs has sent a Boeing 747(Jumbo) to bring Pakistanis back who have crossed over from Libya to Tunisia.
The plane with capacity to carry 465 persons has left for the city of Dejerba in Tunisia. According to information received, around four to five hundred Pakistanis have managed to cross the Libyan border and reached Tunisia. Our mission in Tunisia and the government of Tunisia is looking after these stranded Pakistanis there.
