Anti Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) on Saturday claimed to have arrested a notorious criminal and seized huge cache of weapons. According to the details, a team of AVCC, headed by DSP Rao Aslam, conducted a raid on a tip-off at New Karachi area and arrested a notorious criminal Abid alias Ehtisham alias Bhoora Khan Orangi Town wala after brief encounter.
The team has also claimed to have recovered one repeater and TT pistol from his possessions. Meanwhile, DSP Rao Aslam said the accused Abid was involved in several criminal cases including kidnapping for ransom, murder, attempt to murder and robbery. He said that they had registered a case against him and further investigation is underway.
