The University of Sindh has rusticated its four students and their entry on the campus has been banned for the period of five-year on the basis of their involvement in use of arms and injuring students on Wednesday late evening. According to university sources on Wednesday at Boys hostels two groups of students fought and used arms openly. Four students were injured due to this clash.
The University authorities in light of reports submitted by the Provost, Director and Dean Students Affairs, immediately rusticated four students namely Zoheb Ali Qureshi of MPA (evening) final year, Munir Ahmed Vistro of MPA (Morning) final year, Amanullah Junejo of M.A final Political Science and Tariq Hussain Soomro of BS Part-III statistics, as per University rules and banned their entry on the campus under the disciplinary act for the period of five-year.
The University authorities also suspended teaching for one day on Thursday, while all administrative sections have remained functional and on- going Viva voce examinations of all subjects of external candidates of M.A final (college side) was also conducted as per schedule on Thursday.
