PPCBL begins disbursement of Rs three billion loans for Kharif crops from today

Punjab Provincial Co-operative Bank Ltd (PPCBL) starts agriculture loans disbursement for Kharif crops 2011 including cotton, rice and sugarcane etc from today (Friday). Registrar Co-operatives Mohammad Khan Khichi announced the policy for disbursement of agriculture loans for Kharif crops 2011 here on Thursday.
He said the Co-operative Bank has allocated Rs 3 billion, as agriculture loans to be advanced to the small farmers from Ist April 2011 to 30 June 2011 for sowing and maturing of Kharif crops. Agriculture loans will be given in cash to the co-operative societies and under the directive of the State Bank of Pakistan all loans will be insured, while premium of the owners of 12 and half acre lands and tenets will be paid by the government.
