Prices mixed on grain market

Prices moved both ways on the wholesales grain market on Monday in prices of good trading, dealers said. On the cereal side juwar was quoted at Rs 2600, wheat old and new (Bardan) gained Rs 25 to Rs 2450 and Rs 2565, other items maintained the weekend levels.
Gur low type lost Rs 200 to Rs 5500 and best type maintained overnight level at Rs 6500, dealers said. On the grams sector, Grams Australia lost Rs 100 to Rs 4700-4900, grams Australia dal also shed the same amount to Rs 5700-5900 and Bajra prices, however, rose by Rs 50 to Rs 2600-3000, they said.
Except Irri-6 Sindh low type, on the rice side, which slipped by Rs 10 to Rs 3340 and best quality was unchanged at Rs 3400, other items retained the overnight levels in slow trading, they said. On the seed side castorseeds Lasbela was lower by Rs 50 to Rs 1950, other items were unmoved during the day, they said.
