MQM to form its Central Council

Deputy convenor, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Rabita Committee, Dr Farooq Sattar on Sunday announced to form the Central Council (CC) of MQM. He was addressing a press conference at Khursheed Begum Memorial Hall Azizabad.
He said the members of the CC would be responsible to publicise message of the party and provide consultation to the MQM Rabita Committee on various challenges, which are being confronted by the country and nation.
He said the Central Council would also play its role in preparing election manifesto, designing political programme and developing contacts with the political and religious leaders.
Dr Farooq Sattar said the Council will also co-ordinate with Rabita Committee in policy making of the party and promote the philosophy and message of MQM Chief Altaf Hussain, across the country.
He expressed the hope that establishment of the CC will prove beneficial for the country and the nation and experts will feel honour to associate with it.
The MQM leader appealed to the experts including lawyers, industrialists, retired army officials and people from all cross sections of the society to strengthen the party, which is working for betterment of the country.
Members Rabita Committee, Raza Haroon, Nasreen Jaleel and Mustafa Kamal were also present on the occasion.
