20 stolen cars recovered

The Anti-Vehicles Lifting Staff Saddar Division Lahore arrested car lifter Abdul Khaliq alias Chaudhary including its ringleader and seized 20 cars worth Rs 11 million. The criminals have confessed that they have lifted 35 cars.
According to the details, on the directive of Capital City Police Officer, Muhammad Aslam Tareen, DIG Investigation Ali Aamir Malik and SSP Investigation Zulfiqar Hameed directed SP CRO Sajjad Ahmad Manj to take effective measures against car lifter gangs.
SP CRO constituted a special team under the supervision of DSP Anti-Vehicle Lifting Staff, Saleem Mukhtar Butt comprising Sub-Inspector Muhammad Abbas, AVLS Saddar Division and other police officials. The police team day and night and collected particulars of Abdul Khaliq alias Chaudhary's gang and arrested its two members, including its ringleader. The modus operandi of the criminals they would unlock vehicles and took them to Peshawar through Motorway, where they sold it at cheaper rates to Shahzad Khan Pathan.
