The Russian rouble firmed in early official trade on Friday to a weighted average for tomorrow's settlement of 28.4763 per dollar compared with 28.7422 in the previous session. Versus the euro, the rouble strengthened slightly to a weighted average for today's settlement of 40.0463 at the end of official trade, compared with 40.1021 in the previous session.
