IG Police dissatisfied with law, order situation in Balochistan
The law and order situation in the province can not be deemed as ideal, we have to face lots of challenges to combat the menace of terrorism and bring the situation under control. This was stated by Inspector General of Balochistan Police, Malik Mohammad Iqbal during the passing out parade of police recruits and later talking to media men here at Police Training Center on Monday.
"The growing incidents of kidnapping for ransom in the province of Balochistan has posed new threat to the Law Enforcement Agencies, he said adding, however, the police were making strenuous efforts to dismantle the criminal's networks. Expressing satisfaction over the recovery of kidnapped judges and lawyers, he said that the hectic efforts of the police and other law enforcement agencies have resulted into the safe and early recovery of the abducte.
He noted that the concerted strategy was being evolved to control the increasing incidents of kidnapping in the province. The IG, on the occasion stressed in order to bring reforms in police department, police force was being trained on the modern lines to crush the anti-social elements effectively and make Balochistan peaceful.
