Islamabad Police nab 16 suspects

Islamabad Police nabbed 16 suspects during the ongoing search operation against anti-social elements in various areas and decided to expand its scope further to curb the menace once for all, said Naeem Iqbal, spokesman of Islamabad Police here on Monday.
Islamabad Police have also held five persons for their alleged involvement in merry-making and drug pushing from different areas, the spokesman said. Sihala, Sabzi Mandi, Industrial Area and Nilore Police stations conducted search operation in their respective areas on the instructions of SSP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan, he said, adding that police teams conducted search operation in under construction plazas, parking areas, slums and forest areas, and arrested 16 suspects.
Sabzi Mandi Police nabbed seven suspects, Sihala Police arrested four, Industrial Area apprehended two, while rest of the suspects was arrested by Nilore Police. Kohsar Police arrested Sajid Hussain and Muhammad Noman alias Nomi for having charas and heroin. Shehzad Town Police nabbed Muhammad Shaukat, Naeema Bibi and Naseem Bibi, who were busy in immoral activities in a car.
