NJC to be held on April 21

The Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry on Saturday announced that a National Judicial conference (NJC) would be held on April 21. He was addressing a concluding session of one-week training course for Additional and Senior Civil Judges from all over the country at Federal Judicial Academy (FJA), here.
The CJ said," we are also planning to hold a meeting of National Judicial policy committee before the National conference." "We would also discuss suggestions and proposals by the judicial officers, lawyers community, civil society and media persons in the National Judicial Conference", The Chief Justice maintained. The litigants would also be invited in the conference whose cases are pending without any decision for last five to ten years, he added.
