Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani arrived here on Saturday evening on his two day to visit to Multan. Prime Minister would inaugurate different development projects completed under Prime Minister Package for Multan on Sunday (today).
Prime Minister arrived here at about 5:30 pm. District administration, lawyers, party workers and others gave a warm welcome to him at the airport. From the airport, the Prime Minister went straight to Circuit House where Commissioner Muhammad Ali Gardezi briefed him about the progress of development projects on going in the city.
According to the schedule of the PM's visit of Multan , Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani would meet with different delegations and party workers in Circuit House at 10 am on Sunday (today). Then he would go to Nishtar Hospital to lay the foundation stone of Cancer Ward. After that the Prime Minister would lay the foundation stone of Extension Project of Bosan Road and then inaugurate the newly constructed flyover at Kalima Chowk.
Afterwards Yousuf Raza would go to Bahauddin Zakariya University where Vice Chancellor Dr Zafar Ullah Khan would brief him about the development projects going on in the university. From the University, Prime Minister would move to Jalalpur Pirwala via helicopter to address the big public gathering in sports stadium where he would announce a special package for Jalalpur Pirwala including the projects of gas, electricity and other development projects.
He would also inaugurate the Musa Pak Bridge during his visit. After completing his visit, the Prime Minister would come back to Multan via helicopter and then will move back to Islamabad via special plane on Sunday evening. Tight security arrangements have been made for the two-day visit of the Prime Minister.
