Thin activity was again witnessed on the wholesale grain market on Thursday in process of trading, dealers said. On the cereal side masoor Canada low type shed Rs 200 to Rs 6300 and best type shed Rs 100 to Rs 6500, masoor dal Canada inferior type lost Rs 500 to Rs 7500 and best type also drifted lower by Rs 400 to Rs 7800.
Gur prices showed steep rise low type gained Rs 300 to Rs 5300 and good type was up by Rs 200 to Rs 6200, other items did not show any change in process of trading, they added. On the seed side cottonseeds oilcake with bag inferior type was unchanged at Rs 1350 while the best type shed 10 to Rs 1400, they said. Only one change was seen on the grams side, where grams 50x50 low type was higher by Rs 200 to Rs 5300, the best type, however, slipped by Rs 100 to Rs 5500, they said.
