Vice President, Saarc Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Iftikhar Ali Malik has said that Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) intend to establish a state-of-the-art institute for training government officials and businessmen.
He said that the proposed institute will be established at the federation house in Islamabad. This he said during a meeting with Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani. He informed the Prime Minister that the institute would impart training in international trade and exports.
He said that the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) has enough export development fund which should be used for funding research and development work. The Prime Minister assured that funds would be provided for the proposed institute.-PR
