Punjab University students celebrate International Women's Day

Chairperson, Department of Gender Studies, Punjab University, Dr Samar Fatima led a walk on Tuesday in connection with International Women's Day. A large number of students and faculty members participated in the walk, which started from the department and concluded in front of VC Office.
Addressing the participants of the walk, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Mujahid Kamran these days girls are more conscious and this year nearly 63 percent girls got admission at the Punjab University on merit, as compared to the previous year, he added.
