Two brothers were murdered when their three rivals allegedly showered bullets on their motorcycle after chasing them in a car at Jhalera road near Chack 281-EB on Monday morning. Both the assassinated brothers Muhammad Nawaz and Muhammad Mumtaz sons of Ghulam Farid Lakhu were on their way to Arifwala to attend proceedings of a murder case against them.
Mumtaz was released on bail in the case two days ago. DSP Muhammad Saleem Niazi said the Police had cordoned off the area and started efforts to arrest the accused.
