Secretary General PML-Q Mushahid Hussain Syed on Monday said that proper implementation on 36 billion dollars agreements with China can turnaround our ailing economy. The upcoming` economic zone in Kashgar, energy corridor to China and a rail link from Havalian to China to be completed in next few years will help people of both countries, the PML-Q Secretary General and Chairman Pak-China Institute said.
He said that 'every Pakistani is proud of friendship with China which is Pakistan's closest friend.' Mushahid said this while speaking at a reception given by Muhammad Raza Khan, Chairman Co-ordination, FPCCI, Capital Office, in honour of eleven-member visiting Chinese delegation headed by Deputy Governor Xinjiang Xiaokaiti Yiming.
Minister for Inter-Provincial Co-ordination Balochistan, Dr Ruquiya Saeed Hashmi said bilateral relations are not confined to both the governments. There is no doubt in the hearts and minds of any Pakistani that China is our most trusted ally, she added. Deputy Governor Xinjiang Xiaokaiti Yiming (Shaukat Amin) said that he is delighted to visit this brotherly country and stressed the need for enhanced economic, religious and cultural relations. "I hope that our visit will help bring both brotherly countries together," he said. He invited women parliamentarians to visit China.
Raza Khan said that every Pakistani is an ambassador of China and business community will continue to play constructive role in cementing ties with the emerging economic power. He urged business community to introduce their products in bordering Xinjiang area to improve balance of trade.
