Sports and extra curricular activities develop self-confidence and courage among the youth to face the challenges, said Professor Dr Javed Rabbani Khan, Director NFC Institute Faisalabad at prize distribution ceremony of annual sports festival of the University of Faisalabad (Amin Campus).
The closing ceremony of annual sports festival 2011 of the UAF (Amin Campus) was held, here on Wednesday. Dr Khan who was the chief guest on the occasion said that sports and other healthy extra curricular activities are part of an educational institute.
Dr Javed Rabbani Khan, Major Izahar-ul-Ahsan (Retd), Registrar of the UAF, Professor Muhammad Ashfaq Additional Registrar, gave away the prizes and certificates to the winners. The student of the Department of Textile Engineering got first position, while student of Management Studies secured second and student of Chemical Engineering got third position. At the end, Major Izahar-ul-Ahsan (Retd) presented University memento to Dr Javed Rabbani. This mega event was well organised by Muhammad Suleman, Assistant Director Sports of the university.
