The Swiss franc ticked closer to the previous session's record high against the dollar on Friday as the continuing Libyan turmoil and volatile oil prices kept risk aversion high on traders' agenda, fuelling franc strength. The franc was steady against the euro compared to the New York close, trading at 1.278 per euro at 0815 GMT. The franc was slightly higher against the dollar at 0.925 francs per dollar.
