Grams prices turn mostly lower on grain market

Grams prices were mostly lower on the wholesale grain and seed market on Thursday owing to strong supply, dealers said. On the grams side guwar Sindh gained Rs 300 to Rs 4300-4400, guwar Punjab was up by Rs 250 to Rs 4200-4300.
Grams Australia, however, low type shed Rs 150 to Rs 4950 and best type lost Rs 200 to Rs 5200, gram Dal Australia followed same pattern, losing Rs 200 to Rs 5800-6000, grams 50x50 low type shed Rs 100 to Rs 5500 and good type fell by Rs 50 to Rs 5850, yellow peas Canada prices moved both ways, low type appreciated by Rs 50 to Rs 3650 and best type dropped Rs 150 to Rs 3750, yellow peas dal Canada shed Rs 50 to Rs 4050-4250, yellow peas Ukraine low type shed Rs 100 to Rs 3500 and low type shed Rs 150 to Rs 3750 and yellow peas dal Ukrain slipped by Rs 50 to Rs 3950-4150, they said.
On the seed side cottonseeds oilcake with bag low type shed Rs 50 to Rs 1270 and best quality was lower by Rs 40 to Rs 1300, other items maintained overnight levels, they said. Only one change was seen on the rice sector, where Irri-6 Sindh low type inched up with a rise of Rs 15 to Rs 3275 and good type was higher by Rs 25 to Rs 3350, other items maintained the overnight levels during the day, they said.
