Suspected TTP activist arrested

Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Sindh police on Thursday claimed to have arrested a suspected member of banned outfit Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) at Landhi and recovered weapon from his possession. According to details, the suspect, who was identified as Raheem Zada alias Sher Mohammad son of Abdul Wakeel and said to be associated with the banned outfit TTP, was arrested with weapon in a raid at Feature Colony Landhi.
Officials said that Sher Mohammad was not only nominated in number of cases but also placed in the most wanted list of Malakand Agency. They said that an alleged TTP member, who was booked in several cases, including kidnapping for ransom, attacks on forces' check post, etc, had escaped from Malakand agency and hiding at Feature colony located at Landhi area. They further said the case was registered against him and further investigation was underway.
