Four policemen including ASI of Saddar police station Burewala were killed in a road accident on Wednesday. Police sources told newsmen that ASI Mohammad Arshad, head constable Mohammad Iqbal, constable Mohammad Ikram and police van driver Mohammad Arif were travelling towards Faisalabad to bring a murder accused Mohammad Musa from district jail to present him in the court of Additional district and sessions Judge Chaudhry Abdul Majeed here.
Their speeding vehicle hit a tractor trolley and the severe impact of the collision killed all the four van travellers on the spot. The accident occurred near Rajana, Kamalia in district Toba Tek Singh, some 50 kms from here. DSP Burewala Mohammad Saleem Khan Niazi and Investigation Officer of Saddar police reached the spot to bring back the deceased.
