Islamabad police arrests 20 outlaws

Islamabad Police arrested 20 persons including six women for their alleged involvement in drug peddling and dacoity, seizing 2.600-kg hashish, 10 wine bottles, six 30 bore pistols, laptops and mobile phones from their possession, said a Spokesman of the force here on Saturday.
Shalimar Police arrested five accused for their alleged involvement in dacoity and recovered six pistols, two laptops, mobile phones and other valuables from them. The accused were identified as Ahmed Nawaz, Muhammad Fiaz, Muhammad Arshad, Muhammad Ishtiaq and Aqeel and they committed dacoity in sector G-10/2. On a tip off, Shalimar Police raided at a local hotel in F-10 Markaz and arrested six persons identified, as Asif, Iqbal, Ayesha, Guriya, Sana and Sonai Pervez, recovering 10 wine bottles from them.
Shalimar Police also arrested a drug pusher Ashfaq in possession of 1.80-kg hashish, while Sub-Inspector Abdul Razaq from Sabzi Mandi police station nabbed Bashir Uddin for having 1.100-kg hashish. Sihala Police arrested Khalil Ahmed and Babar Hussain for having 500-gram hashish and 30 rounds of 44 bore rifle. Sub-Inspector Muhammad Athar CIA police recovered murder tools and 30 bore pistol from Farukh Nadeem, which he used to kill a girl in Koral area. SSP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan has appreciated the performance of those police officials who arrested the criminals and directed to further intensify vigilance against anti-social elements.
