Punjab Assembly speaker allots separate seats to 'unification bloc'

Accepting separate identity of the 'unification bloc', Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Muhammad Iqbal on Tuesday allotted separate seats to the group in the provincial assembly. Speaker Punjab Assembly has issued a notification regarding separate seats' arrangement for the dissenters of Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q), who have formed separate group as 'unification bloc' in the provincial assembly.
The unification group comprises 47 legislators and on February 2, the group moved to Speaker Punjab Assembly for appointing Dr Tahir Ali Javed as their parliamentary leader in the Assembly and for separate seating arrangement in the house. After allotment of separate seats to the 'unification block', the number of PML-Q members in the provincial assembly has decreased to 33.
