Hoax bomb call creates panic

A hoax bomb call resulted in an emergency drill for bomb disposal squad and rescue teams who rushed to at Central Police Office for search and rescue on Tuesday. According to a report, a hoax bomb call was received by the officials that a bomb was planted at CPO building, which would be exploded at any time, creating panic among police personnel.
Heavy contingents of police and Rangers have immediately responded on it and evacuated whole building within short spell of time. Meanwhile, the Bomb Disposal Squad also reached the spot for thoroughly checking the premises. The officials of BDS said that they have cleared the premises after two hours.
