Three children crushed to death, bus torched

A speedy passenger bus crushed three children to death at Shahra-e-Liaquat near Akbar Market, here on Sunday. After the accident, angry people set the bus on fire.
Station House Officer (SHO), Preedy Police Station, Shoukat Raza said that three children of ages 12 to 15 years were riding a bike at Akbar Road near Regal area when a passenger bus driven recklessly hit them, injuring them severely. The boys were rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi in critical condition where they succumbed to injuries.
Reacting to the incident, an angry mob torched the bus after passengers got down, while the driver and the conductor fled from the scene. The victims were identified as Adeel, 12, son of Tabussam, Samee, 13, son of Javaid and Taimoor, 17, son of Ghulam Nabi.
