Total open interest position at futures counter declined by 24 percent during the week ended on February 12, 2011 to Rs 1.3 billion. However, futures spreads increased by 565bps to 9.74 percent. Trading at the futures counter remained low and average daily volume declined by 37 percent to 4 million shares.
