Osama's cook to be repatriated to Sudan

Osama Bin Laden's former cook, serving a 14-year prison term at the US detention center at Guantanamo Bay, will be returned to his native Sudan under an agreement with the Pentagon kept secret until now, court documents showed. Ibrahim al-Qosi was the first Guantanamo detainee to be tried by military tribunal under the administration of President Barack Obama, will have his sentence suspended in July 2012, according the a ruling released by the head of the military panel, Bruce MacDonald.
Al-Qosi, who is being held in high security at Guantanamo, is one of just three detainees at the US base in Cuba among 172 who have been convicted by a military tribunal.
