Islamabad Police have arrested 34 outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered a total of 514 bottles of liqueur, 11 pistol, one Kalashnikov, one dagger, 2.6 kg hashish and 180 gram heroin from their possession, said a spokesman of Islamabad Police here on Thursday.
The CIA Police Islamabad arrested two accused Sohrab Ahmed and Jamshed Ahmed from the jurisdiction of Nilore Police Station and recovered 250 bottles off liqueur from his possession Bhara Kahu Police during routine patrolling held three accused namely Fayaz Ahmed, Mushtaq Hussain and Zohaib Ishaq, recovering one pistol (30-bore), four bullets, 120 gram heroin and one bottle liqueur from their possession.
Tarnol Police during routine checking nabbed four accused namely Kashif Irfan, Arshad Mehmud, Qaisar Khan and Ghulam Sarwar and during the checking two pistols (30-bore) one magazine with 10 bullets, 1.21 kg charas and 60 gram heroin was recovered from the detained outlaws.
Sabzi Mandi Police arrested three persons for having of illegal arms and recovered one pistol (30-bore), six bullets and a dagger from the detained outlaws namely Zafar Iqbal, Muhammad Bilal and Muhammad Farooq. Shahzad Town Police during a routine checking nabbed eleven outlaws namely Muhammad Rafiq, Muhammad Kamran, Arshad Mehmud, Muhammad Saeed, Muhammad Fiaz, Allah Dad, Saeed Ahmed, Muhammad
Zubair, Muhammad Niaz and Muhammad Zafar Iqbal and recovered five pistols (30-bore), 19 bullets, 157 bottles liqueur and 1.2 kg charas from them. Koral Police arrested four accused Muharram Khan, Naveed Shahzad, Haider Abbas and Noor Muhammad from 'Jhungi Syedan.' During the search police recovered 102 bottles of liqueur and two pistols from their possession.
Sihala Police nabbed three accused namely Muhammad Asif, Mehboob Alam and Muhammad Faisal and recovered one kalashnikove assault rifle, 110 gram charas and two bottles of liqueur from their possession. Shehzad Town Police arrested six suspects during search operation, who have failed in presenting any documental proof of their nationality, while Aabpara Police arrested an Afghan national Bilal Afghani, who had no identification documents.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Islamabad has praised the performance of the police stations and directed all the SHO to enhance the vigil and bring the outlaws and suspected persons to task. He said that no negligence from any police officer or official will be tolerated.
