The Lahore High Court on Thursday suspended the order of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) management withdrawing transport facility from elected office bearers of CBA union. The court issued this order in a petition filed by general secretary peoples unity of PIA employees union (CBA) Muhammad Ashraf.
The petitioner's counsel pleaded that the LHC in its earlier order had restrained the alleged bogus cabinet of the union and its president Amir Shah from functioning, therefore, the impugned orders passed by the PIA management were illegal. The court after hearing the arguments suspended the operation of the impugned orders and issued notices to respondents.
