Returning Officer on Wednesday issued final list of the contesting candidates for by-election PK 69, Tank, according to which 26 candidates were declared as eligible for contesting the election. As many as 36 candidates filed nomination papers to contest Tank by-election, out of which 5 candidates later announced their withdrawal while 5 were disqualified by the election commission.
After scrutiny of the nomination papers, EC today issued final list of the candidates and their symbols for the by-election. The final candidates included Ayatullah, Alhaaj Muhammad Saeed Khan, Allah Jan, Amanullah Khan, Jan Alam Khan, Habibullah Kundi, Khan Badshah, Dawar Khan Kundi, Dr Sheikh Ehsanullah Khan, Rahat Afshan, Rashidullah Kundi Advocate, Sajjad Ahmed Marwat, Abdullah Haqqani, Irfanullah Khan Kundi, Asmatullah, Ghulam Qadir Khan Bhitani, Qismatullah Miani, Liaqatullah Khan, Muhammad Javed Khan Tarukhel Advocate, Mustafa Kundi, Malik Gulistan Khan, Nisar Ahmed Khan, Nazar Hayat, Nek Badshah, Wahidullah Khan Kundi and Wali Jan.
