The Virtual University of Pakistan with the collaboration of City Traffic Police (CTP) has launched a series of traffic awareness here on Tuesday. This awareness series would be on aired on its Virtual Television Network. In this regard a simple but impressive launching ceremony was held at Virtual University head office near Raiwind, which was attended by City Traffic Police officer Captain Ahmad Mubeen (Retd) and high officials of Virtual University.
The Rector, Virtual University of Pakistan Dr Naveed A Malik, speaking on the occasion, said that in addition to provide education and academic contents, the Virtual University is also making sincere efforts in developing programmes that will make people aware of social issues that are directly related to well being of nation and are essential for building a civilised nation. While addressing the ceremony, Managing Director Virtual University Tajdar Alam, said that objectives of making traffic awareness series to educate the people regarding the traffic signals.
