French Naval chief Admiral Pierre-Francois Forissier called on Admiral Noman Bashir, Chief of the Naval Staff here on Tuesday. During the meeting various aspects related to area of mutual co-operation between the two navies and matters of professional interest were discussed. French Naval chief was also given a presentation on Pakistan Navy.
Admiral Pierre-Francois accompanied by his wife and personal staff officers arrived here on an official visit at the invitation of Admiral Noman Bashir, Chief of the Naval Staff. Upon arrival at Naval Headquarters, he was received by Admiral Noman Bashir. A smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Navy clad in ceremonial dress presented him the Guard of Honour. Admiral Noman Bashir then introduced the Chief of French Navy to the Principal Staff Officers at Naval Headquarters.
Later, the visiting dignitary, called on Chief of the Naval Staff in his office. Apart from holding detailed discussions on professional matters with his counterpart, Admiral Pierre-Francois Forissier will call on the Defence Minister, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and Chief of Air Staff.
