Guwar rates up, Sindh's Irri 6 down on grain market

A few changes were seen on the wholesales grain and oilcake market on Monday in process of slow business, dealers said. On the grams side, Guwar Sindh was higher by Rs 100 to Rs 3650-3750 and Guwar Punjab also followed the same pattern, gained Rs 200 to Rs 2600-3700, they said.
On the cereal side wheat old Bardan registered at Rs 2640 and wheat new Bardan was quoted at Rs 2655, other items moved slowly and closed at the last levels, they said. On the rice sector Irri-6 Sindh low type was lower by Rs 75 to Rs 3150 and fine type was down by Rs 100 to Rs 3175, they said. Only one change was seen on the seeds side as cottonseed oilcake with bag Sindh low type gained Rs 20 to Rs 1260 however, the best type fell to Rs 1270, other items did not move any side owing to balanced demand and supply, they added.
