Message from Chairman Kashmir Committee

Published Updated

The Kashmiris are united with the Pakistanis due to the historical, geographical and cultural bonds. The vicissitude of time and machinations of India could not weaken their ties; rather these have been further cemented with the passage of time. The hearts of both the peoples throb together. If one is hurt, the other feels the pain.
The current peaceful mass movement of the Kashmiris, continuing for the last quite some time has made it clear to the whole world that the freedom struggle in the Occupied Kashmir is not only non-militant, but is also not foreign sponsored. Besides, the unprecedented sacrifices, rendered by the Kashmiri people in terms of life, honour and property, send an unequivocal message to India as well as to the world community that the Kashmiris want freedom from India and not an internal adjustment.
The Kashmir cause is very dear to the Pakistanis. They may have their own problems, but they are not ignorant of the plight and sufferings of the Kashmiris. As in the past, Pakistan will continue supporting the just struggle of the Kashmiri people for their right to self-determination. Similarly, the Parliamentary Kashmir Committee will also continue espousing the cause of the Kashmiris inside as well as outside the country.
