The government of Pakistan distributed 200 Emergency Relief Supplies (ERS) including cooking utensils and blankets to improve socio-economic conditions of the flood affected families in Mohmand Agency. Two schemes of drinking water and street pavement have also been completed in the agency to improve living standard of the communities.
According to FATA Secretariat in tehsil Halimzai the flood-hit people were suffering from lack of daily living essentials such as blankets and cooking utensils. The political administration distributed two hundred Emergency Relief Supplies (ERS) kits amongst the deserving families.
Each ERS kit consist of blankets, plastic mats, bedsheets, pillows, mosquito nets, hand fans, water coolers, pressure cooker, jug, glasses, plates and other cooking utensils. In Namdar Kor and Kasai kallay of Halimzai Tehsil a drinking water and street pavement schemes have completed. In Namdar Kor village pump house, two water points and three storage tanks were constructed while 625 meters long distribution pipeline was laid.
