Asrar Raouf assumes charge as additional secretary

In pursuance of Establishment Division notification, Asrar Raouf BS-21 officer of Inland Revenue Service has relinquished the charge as Member Policy (Direct Taxes), Federal Board of Revenue (Hq), Islamabad from February 1 2011. He has assumed the charge of Additional Secretary, Revenue Division on the same date.
In this regard, the FBR has issued a notification here on Thursday. Through another notification, Mrs Riffat A. Hassan Abidi (PCS/BS-20), on relinquishing her charge as Consul General, Consulate General of Pakistan, Montreal, Canada and after availing ex-Pakistan leave on medical grounds from March 5, 2010 to July 31, 2010 assumed the charge in FBR (Hqrs), Islamabad on November 3, 2010.
Her intervening period of absence w.e.f. 01.08.2010 to 02.11.2010 is regularised as leave ex-Pakistan on medical grounds. Najeeb-ur-Rehman Abbasi (PCS/BS-20), relinquished the charge of the post of Collector, Model Customs Collectorate, Lahore from February 1, 2011. He assumed the charge of the post of Commissioner Inland Revenue, Large Taxpayer's Unit, Lahore on the same date.
According to another FBR notification, on attaining the age of superannuation, Javed Kazi, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Customs Service, presently posted as Deputy Chairman, National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Islamabad, shall stand retired from Government Service w.e.f. April 30, 2011. Dr Ahmad Mujtaba Memon (PCS/BS-19), assumed the charge as Secretary, Federal Board of Revenue (Hqrs), Islamabad w.e.f.01.02.2011.
