Grams prices were higher on the wholesales grain and seed market on Tuesday after slight improvement in supply position, dealers said. On the cereal side masoor Canada was higher by Rs 200 to Rs 7000 and masoor dal, however, lost Rs 300 to Rs 8200. Urad Burma was quoted lower at Rs 3300, other items did not move any side in process of trading, they said.
On the grams side Rs 50 rise was seen in the rates of yellow peas Canada at Rs 3650-3800, yellow peas dal at 4050-4200, yellow peas Ukraine at Rs 3550-4200, yellow peas dal from Ukraine at Rs 4000-4150. Bajra low type rose by Rs 100 to Rs 2500 and best type was unchanged at Rs 2900, they said. On the seed sector cakes shed Rs 40 to Rs 900-910, other items moved slightly to close at the overnight levels, they added.
