The objective of this annual conference is to bring together industry specialists and strategic planners to highlight, discuss and debate on the issues and opportunities we have to safeguard the future of Pakistan's energy reserves. The need for a sustained and integrated plan to take Pakistan into the next decade (2011-2020) is the real challenge, irrespective of the fact that situations and circumstances around us may change for the better or worse. The steady efforts to ensure optimum utilisation of our resources in building a strong production base and to meet the energy needs of the country must be the focus of our regulators, planners and management teams.
