The Swiss franc was slightly firmer against the euro on Friday as investors expect Switzerland's leading growth barometer, the KOF indicator, to show the country's economy is still in good health. The Swissie was 0.2 percent higher versus the euro compared to the New York close, trading at 1.2954 francs per euro. The franc was little changed against the dollar at 0.9455 per dollar.
