New Zealand beat Australia in second Test

12 Dec, 2011

The Kiwis claimed their first Test victory in Australia since 1985 when they claimed the last eight Australian wickets for 74 runs.

Seamer Doug Bracewell bowled the Kiwis to victory as Australia collapsed after being comfortable at 159 for two chasing 241 runs for victory.

Bracewell finished with six for 40.

Opener David Warner's unbeaten 123 was in vain as wickets fell around him and he finished the topscorer in a Hobart Test where the ball dominated the bat.

The series finished all square after Australia won the first Gabba Test by nine wickets.

Scores: New Zealand 150 and 226; Australia 136 and 233.
