KESC workers reinstated but termination orders not withdrawn: MD

Managing Director (MD) KESC Tabish Gohar has said that 4,500 employees have been re-instated on government orders but their termination orders have not been withdrawn, a private TV channel reported on Wednesday. Talking to media men, MD KESC reiterated that golden handshake scheme would be introduced again on appropriate time and non-productive staff of the department would be released from KESC with a new strategy.
Tabish Gohar further said that it was the responsibility of the government to provide employment to the people not us adding that if interference continued in administrative decision then no one would invest, the channel added.
