'PML-N to table 20th Amendment Bill for creation of more provinces'

President Pakistan Muslim League and Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs Senator Salim Saifullah Khan has said that his party would table the 20th Amendment Bill in the Senate for the formation of more provinces and added that the power of the political parties heads would also be curtailed through the new amendment.
This was stated by him in a meeting with Barrister Danish Iftikhar. He said that with the establishment of more provinces in the country, the problems of the people would be resolved urgently and added that like Hazara the new province would be comprised of southern district in Khyber Pakhtukwah including some parts of Balochistan till Zohb and the Kuram and North and South Waziristan Tribal agencies.
He also criticised the unlimited power of the political parties heads and added that democratic societies such like powers should not be given to them as it was against the very spirit of democracy. He cited the example of that Asif Ali Zardari was the president but he could through the Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani from the slot of Prime Minister through withdrawing the support from the members of the parliament from him.
Khan also hinted that the Senate should be more powerful as it was safeguarding the right of the small federation and added that the mentioned three Amendment would be included in the 20th Amendment Bill which would be landed in the senate in one week.
He stressed on the politicians of the country that the national interest should be supreme for them over the personal interest and stressed on government to call all parties conference to evolve a joint strategy on vital issues and added that weapon was not the solution of all the problems. He connected that the country economy was on the edge of disaster and unemployment, prices-hiking has reached to its peak and said that the business in our province has been totally collapsed due to poor law and order situation.
He urged that the Prime Minister should called APC. He said that the very vital project Kuram Tangi Dam would be constructed very soon, which would benefit Lakki Marwat and Karak, Bannu, and added that they were in contact with the government in this regard to start work on the project as early as possible.
He said that agriculture tax, real estate tax, and stock exchange market tax should be implemented to avoid any more burdens over the poor people and added that the masses have already been in very critical conditions due to record price-hike. He added that the government should adopt austerity, minimise the size of the cabinet in centre and provincial government level and added that corruption should be ended to stand the country on its Feet.
