Need for achieving export target stressed

Chairman, Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers & Exporters Association (PHMA) North Zone, Chaudhry Salamat Ali stressed the need for integration and co-ordination among various organisations for achieving national export targets.
Addressing the probationers of Pakistan Institute of Trade & Development at Serena, he said the role of textile associations was unique to promote Pakistani exports but the official institutions were not fully implementing their own formulated trade and industrial policies and were reluctant to include the textile stakeholders, while making agreements with other countries.
The function was addressed by Rana Mushtaq Khan, Chairman, Pakistan Value Added Textile Sector, Shafique Ahmad Shahzad, Director, Pakistan Institute of Trade and Development, Naseer Ahmad, Chairman, Adhoc Committee Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Choudhry Muhammad Aslam, former Chairman, PHMA, Qamar Aftab and Mian Naeem Ahmad.
Later, the queries of the probationers were answered by the chairman PHMA and other executive members. At the end of the meeting, Shafique Ahmad Shahzad presented the souvenir of Pakistan Institute of Trade & Development to Chaudhry Salamat Ali.
