The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has congratulated the newly elected office-bearers of Pakistan Industrial and Traders Associations Front (PIAF) and hoped that they would make all efforts to resolve the problems being faced by the business community.
Acting President LCCI, Sheikh Mohammad Arshad and Vice President, Sohail Azhar said that the PIAF being a representative organisation of business community is rendering appreciable services for the economic turnaround and would continue to provide guidelines to fellow businessmen. They said that the PIAF's role has become more crucial in the present scenario when the business community is suffering due to high input cost and acute energy shortage.
He said that Eng Sohail Lashari, Nadir Kamal Osman and Junaid Iqbal Sheikh are renowned businessmen and are well aware about the challenges being faced by the economy. He also paid rich tributes to the LCCI former President Mian Anjum Nisar for playing a very positive role in making the PIAF a real representative of the business community.
