Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has demanded to hand over Punjab province to the Army as law and order situation is getting worse by every passing day, which has made people's life miserable in the province, a private TV channel reported.
APP adds: Expressing satisfaction over reinstatement of 4,500 workers, he urged Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC), management to reinstate another 216 sacked employees whose services were terminated earlier.
Altaf was addressing via telephone from London to a gathering of the employees of KESC at MQM headquarters, said a statement issued by MQM on Monday. The employees of KESC reached headquarters of MQM to express gratitude.
He called upon the deprived sections of the society to tell the world that the people of Pakistan are united nation. Altaf Hussain said we want friendly relationship with all the countries.
He said, he will make Pakistan a country as had been envisioned by Quaid-e-Azam, Allamaa Iqbal and our other leaders. The MQM Chief said if his mission remained unaccomplished in his lifetime, then his companions will complete it and develop Pakistan as a self-reliant country. He thanked the KESC management for restoring the sacked employees and also called for restoration of 216 sacked employees of Sindh on their jobs in KESC. He assured the KESC Management that the restored labourers will perform their duties with honesty and they will not disappoint it.
