Grams prices turn higher on grain market

Grams prices were higher on the wholesales grain and seed market on Monday as most of traders bought grams to meet their requirements, dealers said. On the gram side yellow peas Canada gained Rs 50 to Rs 3300-3450, yellow peas Canada Dal picked up the same amount to Rs 3650-3800.
Yellow peas Ukrain followed the same pattern, rising by Rs 50 to Rs 3200-3350 and yellow peas Ukrain dal posted the same amount to Rs 3600-3750. Bajra, however, low type shed Rs 25 to Rs 3500 and best quality was down by Rs 100 to Rs 300, they said.
On the seed side, cottonseeds oilcake low type gained Rs 10 to Rs 1270 while superior type did not show any change at Rs 1300 in process of trading, they said.
Cereal and rice sectors retained the overnight levels amid slow trading, they said.
